This is a fantastic decorative faience dish from the famous Danish manufacturer Royal Copenhagen. The dish was designed by the well-known Danish ceramist Ellen Malmer and belongs to the iconic Baca series, launched in 1965 under the leadership of Nils Thorsson. The series is characterized by its matte, slightly textured glaze and earthy color palette. The motif is an abstract, modernist pattern in contrasting shades of brown, black, and white, with a centered circle in olive green/yellow. It is a classic example of Scandinavian mid-century design from the 1970s. According to the marking on the back, this piece was manufactured between 1969 - 1973. Dimensions: approx. 6.7 in (17 cm) in diameter Condition: This dish is 1st quality and in very fine condition, intact and clean without chips or cracks (see pictures for your own assessment).
