Returns & right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the EU you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (Swedish Distance Contracts Act, Lag (2005:59) om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler).
The 14-day period
The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you, or a person nominated by you, take physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, email us at info@polarvintage.com with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase. You may also use the standard withdrawal form from the Swedish Consumer Agency (Konsumentverket).
Returning the object
Return the object without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us. Pack it at least as well as it arrived — preferably in the original packaging.
The buyer pays the return shipping unless the object was faulty or incorrectly described. We recommend a tracked and insured service; you are responsible for the object until it reaches us.
Refunds
We refund the purchase price and the standard outbound shipping cost within 14 days of receiving the returned object, using the same payment method you used.
You are liable for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the object.
Faulty or damaged goods
If an object arrives damaged or does not match the description, contact us with photographs. We cover the return shipping and refund you in full, or agree another solution with you.
Under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act you may claim a fault (reklamation) for up to three years. Because every object is used and vintage, age-related wear, patina, crazing and minor marks described in the listing are not considered faults — the condition described and shown in the photographs forms part of what you agree to buy.
