This is a very beautiful and timeless handled pitcher in glazed stoneware from the well-known Danish workshop Michael Andersen & Søn on Bornholm. The pitcher was designed by the workshop's long-time artistic director Marianne Starck (1938–2007) and produced during the 1950s or 1960s. It features a fantastic, speckled glaze in warm, earthy brown tones and a very elegant, sleek shape. Marking: Fully signed at the bottom with the factory's classic shield (Rønne's coat of arms with three fishes) as well as Marianne Starck's incised artist monogram "MS". Condition: Very fine vintage condition, intact and clean without chips or cracks (see pictures for your own assessment). Dimensions: approx. 6.3 in (16 cm) high and approx. 5.9 in (15 cm) wide. Packed very carefully with bubble wrap and sent with tracking.
