Unique and magnificent Art Deco vase Anjer from famous Gouda (PZH), Holland – 1920s! Selling a fantastic collector's item for the connoisseur, a large and elegant trumpet-shaped ceramic vase from Dutch Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland (PZH) in Gouda. The vase is in the sought-after Art Nouveau/Art Deco style and features the beautiful Anjer (carnation) pattern. It has a striking aesthetic with a deep, matte dark olive green base contrasted by a colorful, hand-painted floral band in bright blue, yellow, and reddish-brown. The vase has an impressive presence and fantastic proportions with its flared top edge. Specifications and markings: Model number 1822 (classic flared trumpet shape), Decor Anjer (hand-painted carnation motif), Height approx. 10.2 in (26 cm), Origin Gouda, Holland (Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland). Markings underneath: Fully hand-signed on the bottom with decor name, model number, the factory mark (Lazarus Gate) as well as the decorator's personal signature.
