This characterful cylindrical vase from Danish Søholm carries a rustic charm. The upper, slightly flared section is decorated with an eye-catching mottled glaze where deep blue tones meet earthy brown and beige shades. The rough texture of the stoneware gives the piece a tactile and lively feel. A beautiful example of Scandinavian ceramic art that looks just as great on its own as filled with a bundle of dried flowers. The model is numbered 3607 and is part of the Erika series, designed around 1971 by the artist duo Noomi Backhausen and Paul Brandborg.
