The story of this object
Famille Rose, or the pink family, is a well-known style of Chinese porcelain introduced in the 18th century. The style is characterized by its opaque enamel decoration where shades of pink and red often dominate in nature-inspired motifs. The seal is a Qianlong reign mark (1736–1795) as a tribute, a so-called apocryphal mark, as the vase was likely produced in the second half of the 20th century.
