A beautifully shaped tea caddy in white porcelain, richly decorated with a classic geisha motif. The jar's distinct rectangular shape with sloping shoulders makes it a very attractive decorative piece. The motif depicts two women in kimonos in a serene landscape, framed by hanging wisteria and blooming irises in vivid shades of iron red, blue, and green. A characterful small collector's item with fine craftsmanship. This tea caddy is missing its lid.
