A beautifully shaped tea caddy with lid in white porcelain, richly decorated with classic blue underglaze painting. The motif depicts a gnarled, blooming prunus tree – a traditional Asian symbol for the arrival of spring and endurance. The jar's distinctive, rectangular shape with sloped shoulders makes it a very beautiful interior decor piece.
