The item is entirely covered in a glossy mustard-yellow or amber-colored glaze, giving it a warm, period-typical look. The flat rim is decorated with a raised, geometric relief pattern of rhombuses. The story of this object
During the mid-20th century, Upsala-Ekeby and its subsidiary Gefle produced a large quantity of colorful and functional household goods. Ovenproof dishes, skillets, and casseroles in bright colors became immensely popular in the modern, emerging Swedish welfare state.
