An expressive and atmospheric figurine from Spanish Lladró, depicting a young girl in folk dress with a basket on her arm. Crafted in the brand's characteristic Gres technique, which gives a matte, stoneware-like surface and highlights the muted, earthy shades of beige, pink, and blue. The fine details of the face and the drape of the fabric attest to high craftsmanship. A beautiful and solid collectible that adds a peaceful atmosphere to the home.

The story of this object

Lladró was founded in 1953 by three brothers in Valencia, Spain, and quickly became world-famous for its porcelain figurines. During the 1970s, they introduced the Gres collection, characterized by its matte finish and warmer, more rustic color palette compared to their traditional high-gloss porcelain. Designer Salvador Debón created this model in the late 1970s.
