Selling a very beautiful and detailed baptismal font bowl in stoneware from historic L. Hjorth on Bornholm, Denmark. This piece is a historical miniature replica in high relief of the famous 12th-century baptismal font in Aa Kirke (Åkirkeby), originally carved by the Gotlandic master sculptor Sighraf. The bowl is made of brown-fired, unglazed stoneware with fantastic reliefs depicting biblical scenes in Romanesque style. Fantastic craftsmanship and a sought-after collector's item for those who appreciate classic Danish ceramics and exciting cultural history. Markings on the foot ring: L.
